This finely carved wooden statue of Amida Nyorai (Amitabha Buddha) is a traditional principal image of the Jōdo Shinshū (Ōtani-ha) sect of Japanese Buddhism. Expertly handcrafted by Japanese artisans, the statue embodies both spiritual grace and exquisite detail.

The Buddha figure itself measures approximately 3.5 sun (about 10.5 cm) from the base of the feet to the top of the head, fitting comfortably in the palm of your hand.
