全体に美しい蒔絵が施された贅沢な硯箱です。木の風合い、蒔絵の色味から、かなり古い時代を感じさせる渋い逸品です。上蓋を開け、前板を外すと光沢のある引き出しが現れます。
時代推定：江戸後期〜大正
※経年によるごく細かな汚れ、退色、イタミあります。縁金が薄くなっている部分あります。蓋の一部にごく小さな欠けあります。

A Refined Antique Maki-e Suzuribako (Inkstone Box)
This luxurious suzuribako (inkstone box) is adorned throughout with beautiful maki-e lacquer work. The texture of the wood and the subdued hues of the maki-e evoke a sense of deep antiquity and quiet refinement.
Opening the top lid and removing the front panel reveals a glossy inner drawer—an elegant and practical design.

Estimated Era: Late Edo to Taisho period (mid-19th to early 20th century)

Please note: There are minor signs of aging, such as fine stains, fading, and slight wear. Some areas of the metal edge have thinned, and there is a very small chip on the lid.
